Nominate Your Teacher

Rewarding and Inspiring Great Teaching

The Presidential Award for Excellence in Mathematics and Science Teaching (PAEMST) is the highest recognition that a kindergarten through 12th-grade mathematics or science teacher may receive for outstanding teaching in the United States. Established by Congress in 1983, the PAEMST program authorizes the President of the United States to bestow up to 108 awards each year.

The 2012 Awards will honor math and science teachers working in grades K-6 in a public or private school. Nomination deadline is April 1, 2012 for K-6 grade. Nomination period for teachers of grades 7-12 for the 2013 Awards will be open later.  Wouldn’t it be great if your nominee won?  Learn how to nominate your teacher.  –Joe
